TRUMP’S WHITE HO– USE IS SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL

Donald Trump is reportedly fuming and in un-controlled rage following a stunning publication by the NEW YORK TIMES of an Op-Ed piece titled “I am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration”

According to the NYT the author of this shocking and earth-shaking piece is a senior official in the Trump administration.

This is un-precedented for a senior official in the White House or administration to come forward and raise an alarm about the President’s fitness to hold office. But more shocking is the claim that Trump is amoral.

”The root of the problem is the president’s amorality. Anyone who works with him knows he is not moored to any discernible first principles that guide his decision making.”

In public Trump seems un-concerned, not worried about what is being said about him, but clearly he is. Why would he otherwise tell a campaign style rally of his base that “if I get impeached it is your fault.”

Why is Trump pushing Attorney General Jeff Sessions — whom he denigrates on a daily basis, calling him a “retard Southerner” —  to investigate and ascertain the identity of the author of this article when no crime has been committed?

Never before in the history of this Republic have we seen a White House that functions, day in day out,  in crisis mode. Following publication of aforesaid article, Vice President Mike Pence — the shadow president — came forward and said he is willing to take a lie detector test. In similar fashion all Cabinet Secretaries made public statements swearing they did not author the resistance article.

All this is unbelievable, but we have come to accept the abnormal in the last two years Of this mediocre presidency.

In the meantime America’s allies are baffled by the chaos in the Trump administration. More so for the fact that Trump respects few of them and the chaos in this White House has put a chokehold on diplomacy.

The author goes on to say, “From the White House to executive branch departments and agencies, senior officials will privately admit their daily disbelief at the commander in chief’s comments and actions. Most are working to insulate their operations from his whims.”

There should be concern when the most powerful man on the globe is being undermined by his own cabinet and senior government officials.

And as I write, the President’s rating is at an all time low with 61% of Americans saying Trump is doing a lousy job.

And because of this, the article goes on to say, “ The dilemma – which he does not fully grasp – is that many of the senior officials in his administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.”

This is not insubordination. Dedicated and patriotic Americans are working hard to save the country from a man they think and believe is “impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective.”

The article concludes, “ The bigger concern is not what Mr. Trump has done to the presidency but rather what we as a nation have allowed him to do to us. We have sunk low with him and allowed our discourse to be stripped of civility.”

Unless there is a blue wave come November during the mid-term elections, folks, we are screwed.
