RUDASINGWA BASHES NYAMWASA ACCUSING HIM OF ATTROCITIES

I couldn’t contain my laughter as I read a piece Theogene Rudasingwa penned on June 30, 2019 in “THE RWANDAN” titled “General Kayumba Nyamwasa Must Account For The Loss of Rwandan Lives in DRC.”

Not surprising, however. Rudasingwa has never been loyal to anything: not to his comrades, Rwanda, his ideals or the truth, hence earning himself the name “Redcom.”

It is an open secret that Rudasingwa has never honored the oath of the high offices he has held over the years. Why he thinks anybody today would take him seriously boggles the mind.

In this article Rudasingwa admits to many things, many of which he was charged with and convicted in absentia over two decades ago. For instance he admits to there being 400 “rebel soldiers” in the DRC under the auspices of the Rwanda National Congress. And he says, “the rebels are under the command of exiled Rwandan General Kayumba Nyamwasa who lives under the security protection of the South African Government.”

You want to know what Rudasingwa thinks of Nyamwasa’s forces? He calls them an “isolated and impoverished ragtag rebel army.”

It gets better.

According to Rudasingwa, “Nothing has changed in Nyamwasa’s behavior.” He accuses him of “acts of genocide against Hutu in Rwanda and DRC.”

The day Nyamwasa is apprehended, as he will, and has his day in court, Lord have mercy, Rudasingwa will be a bombshell witness for the prosecution. But for the fact that he too, is a fugitive from justice.

He goes on to say of Nyamwasa, “In exile since 2010, … he has never acknowledged crimes committed against officers and men of RPF.” Go figure.

The man sings better than a canary.

“His obsessive desire to unseat President Kagame … has continued to blind him (Nyamwasa) to the sanctity of human life” Rudasingwa writes.

Of the RNC, which he is a co-founder, Rudasingwa informs his readers that “RNC is facing the worst leadership crisis ever, with internal strife characterized by a toxic atmosphere, factionalism, and unacceptable indiscipline.” You don’t say! I

I would never have guessed.

The indictment goes on: “Since 2016, Nyamwasa has recklessly and selfishly steered RNC into adventurous militarism, leading to the loss of Rwandan lives as the current fiasco clearly shows.”

“First, he (Nyamwasa) sent over 400 mostly young Rwandans in the jungles of DRC without political guidance, oversight, and means of survival. He shares this responsibility with Condo, Nayigiziki, Minani, Hakizimana, Micombero, Turayishimye, among many others in RNC’s undisciplined or otherwise clueless entourage.”

With friends like Rudasingwa who needs enemies.

Something stinky has happened between Nyamwasa and Rudasingwa. “ Being a cowardly armchair general, he (Nyamwasa) commanded his miserable ragtag army from far away in the comfort of South African hospitality, through the proxy services of his civilian brother-in-law, Frank Ntwali” Rudasingwa says.

Brother, tame your anger.

The prosecution in the case against these two fugitives need not bother conduct its own investigation, thanks to Rudasingwa.

Rudasingwa concludes by saying that “Divided, without political and military leadership, lacking logistics and supplies, the fate of the rebel soldiers (in Minembwe and South Kivu) was sealed.”

“It is absurd that Kagame would have even thought these so-called rebels presented present and credible threat to Rwanda.” Rudasingwa’s words, not mine.

As if that was not enough, Rudasingwa goes on to flog an already dead horse by saying, “It is time for General Nyamwasa and the RNC to wind up their deceptive and dangerous business by declaring themselves politically and militarily bankrupt.”

Not in a million years would I have ever thought I could agree with Rudasingwa.

“There will be time for General Nyamwasa to account for the crimes he has committed and for the continuing loss of lives of Rwandans.”

And with that strong submission, Theogene “Redcom” Rudasingwa will be excused from the dock as the prosecution’s star witness.
